Bill Meisel is president of TMA Associates (www.tmaa.com). Meisel, a consultant on commercial applications of natural language processing and speech recognition, is also the organizer of the Conversational Interaction Conference and is an author, most recently, of Computer Intelligence. In the 1980s, he founded and ran a speech recognition technology company and earlier wrote the first book on machine learning (computer pattern recognition) as a university professor.
