 Bruce began researching, designing, and assessing enterprise and automotive speech applications more than 20 years ago as a Senior Scientist at Bolt Beranek and Newman. From there, he went on to develop user interface design groups at BBN Hark, Parlance Corporation, and the Portable Products Department of Dragon Systems. Since 2001 Bruce has been the Principal Consultant for Bruce Papazian Incorporated, focusing on the research, design and assessment of multi-modal speech-based user interfaces for mobile, portable, and automotive applications. His client list includes BMW, Ford, General Motors, Infinitive Speech, Jaguar, L&H, Mitsubishi, Motorola, Nissan, Nuance, Soliloquy Learning, SpeechWorks, Toyota, Nissan, and Visteon. Bruce has a PHD in Human Factors Engineering from the Department of Industrial and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
