Avatars are being introduced as intelligent agents within user interfaces for many types of applications where they can be used as news readers, personalised agents, instructors, and guides.

SpeechTEK Europe's Avatar Challenge presents a collection of newly-developed avatars designed for a range of business applications. Take a look at some early entries below to learn how avatars are being used to improve the customer experience.

SpeechTEK Europe's Avatar Challenge, a panel of VUI experts will be evaluating these avatars for quality and usability, and will recommend one or more for the “expert's prize”. Conference attendees at SpeechTEK Europe will vote for the "people's choice". The winners in both categories will be announced at SpeechTEK Europe in May.
