Tarah Knaresboro manages VUI Design at Emmi Solutions, where she works on IVR initiatives to support transitions in care and population health management. Projects at Emmi range from the simple (sending out a flu vaccine reminder) to the complicated (capturing mood and medication adherence information from a severely mentally ill population). Special interests include human-machine communication, neuroscience, mental health, health literacy, and psychological response to trauma. In her spare time, she teaches Brazilian jiu-jitsu and boxing classes.
