Biographical Information

Phil Shinn
CTO
ImmunityAnalytics

Phil has been in the speech, text and natural language business for more than 25 years and has designed and built dozens of applications. He is a member of the board of Applied Voice Input Output Society (AVIOS) and has served on the board of the Association for Coversational Interaction Designers (ACIxD). He has worked on dozens of speech applications in over 20 years in the industry, and has been an application developer, voice user interface designer, speech scientist, product manager and project manager. He has a PhD in Linguistics; is principal author of the Voice User Interface Designer (VUID) Toolbox, an open source tool kit for designing speech recognition applications. He is currently CTO at ImmunityAnalytics.
