Ria Farrell Schalnat is a jazz-singing, chess-playing patent and software-licensing attorney focusing on the computer arts including patent prosecution, license drafting and reviews, due diligence and portfolio management. She has taught several law school courses. She is the Secretary of the Speech Technology Consortium and served as President of the Cincinnati Intellectual Property Law Association in 2008 and 2009.
