Fil Alleva is GM of Microsoft’s Speech team responsible for speech technologies and API’s in Microsoft Speech Server, Unified-Communications, Office, WindowsMobile and WindowsVista. Previously at Carnegie Mellon’s School of Computer Science he worked on numerous speech systems including Harpy, Sphinx and SphinxII. Fil is the (co)inventor/author of numerous patents/papers on speech technology.
