As Director of Multimedia Professional Services, Ron Owens is responsible for managing the design, development and project management of IVR, contact center and high capacity messaging solutions in the Americas. 

Owens has over 18 years experience in technology, banking and voice automation, and prior to joining Nortel, worked at companies such as Intervoice, EDS, Bank of America and most recently First Data, where he was Vice President of Product Strategy. Ron is considered an industry expert, having published and contributed to regional, national and international articles related to the implementation of highly sophisticated speech recognition applications.   Ron holds an MBA from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia.
